Let’s first know this… 👇
The Muladhara Chakra ,situated at the base of our Spine, is the first of the seven human Chakras.
Linked to the unconscious mind, This Chakra is the foundation for the development of our personality.
The positive attributes
vitality,
vigour
growth.

The negative qualities are
laziness,
inertia,
self-centredness

In the symbolic picture of the Muladhara Chakra there is a Lotus with four petals.
These represent
mind (Manas),
intellect (Buddhi),
consciousness (Chitta)
ego (Ahamkara)
– all of which originate in this Chakra.
The Chakra’s colour is red, the colour of Shakti. Shakti means energy, movement, awakening and development.
Red symbolises awakening of the sleeping consciousness .
The Mantra associated with this Chakra is
“LAM”
Let’s begin to control what’s going on inside.
Start chanting this Mantra and strengthen the inside of you…the base of you… So that the rest of your being can bloom Gloriously.

Strengthen your glutes for proper and untroubled movement of your whole body. Unknowingly, We forget stretching this specific body area and that gradually leads to Atrophy of this muscle.
Rewards of the Gluetial Stretch~

🎲Increases suppleness in the gluets & hamstrings.
🎲Delays fatigue on the gluteus muscles.
🎲Stiff gluteus muscles and hamstrings are connected with lower back pain and back problems.Performing the glute stretch reduces pressure experienced on the back.
🎲Beneficial for correcting your alignment and posture.
🎲Massages and corrects abdominal organs.
🎲A great stretch post Running ,Walking or any cardio session.

Doing it is Simple😊
👉Sit straight at the base of your spine, on a mat with hands placed at the side of your hips and legs extended forward with straight knees.
👉Bend the right knee and place the right foot on the left knee.
👉Next, bend the left knee and place the left foot on the mat.
👉Now, with the help of both your hands start pulling the left foot closer to your hip. Once your left foot touches the left glute,tuck your tummy in and hug your knees .Hold in this pose and breathe for 30 secs. Then Repeat with the other leg.
Please Note : You could consider taking support of the wall. So with your spine imprinted on the wall,Happily… stretch your Booty 😊

Utthan Pristhasana (The Lizard Pose)

For your cranky, stiff and irritating Groin area and Hips, here’s a fabulous stretch that eases out all the discomfort.
This is a mild Asana that stretches and strengthens the groin and hamstrings while preparing the body for advanced hip openers.
A wonderful Preparatory Asana for Advanced Poses like Hanuman Asana and Pigeon Pose.
To perform this pose is simple…
Assume a lunge,
then dropping forearms down ,
Next dropping the knee and straightening the behind leg.
Smile and breathe
PHYSICAL BENEFITS:
Opens the hips
Strengthens Hamstrings
Strengthens Groins
Stretches Hip Flexors
Back Pain often occurs due to stiffness in the Hip joints.Practicing this pose could help cure back pain.
SPIRITUAL BENEFITS:

Go slowly and don’t push your body beyond its limits,as jerky movements could result in muscle strain.

Vrikshasana- The Tree Pose

Standing tall yet remaining strongly grounded in the Vrikshasana helps us attain Steadiness in Life, just as of a Tree 🌲
Balancing on one leg steadily teaches us to remain Focused yet Calm and Relaxed preparing our mind to be able to strike the balance in our different aspects of life.The Namaskar Mudra assumed in this pose enhances our Spiritual Growth and Enlightment.
At the Physical Level, Vrikshasana, Joyfully Stretches the entire body and Strengthens Our Thighs,Calves,Knee and Ankle joints, leaving us with Increased Hip Flexibility.
This Asana is easily performed By first Standing Erect on left leg, then bending the right leg and placing the right foot on the left inner thigh. Then, with an inhalation, raising both hands above head and assuming the Namaskar Mudra. Hold the pose and breath deeply for 30secs.Then Repeat with the other leg.
However,incases of High BP, Low BP, Migraine, Insomnia, Knee Pain or any other serious illness,always remember to consult your Doctor before attempting.
Prevention is better than Cure
Gracefully Standing tall in the Tree Pose with a Gentle Smile adorning your face, each inhalation, lifts your heart and body, and each exhalation helps you to stay deeply rooted in the ground.

It all began a night before…. When I switched off my cell phone on time …so that I could grab at least 8 to 10 hours of sleep….
And I was all set ,as my clock woke me up to a lovely morning…

Freshen up….
❤ON EMPTY STOMACH I SIP 1 GLASSES OF WATER.💧💧
❤6.30 to 7.30 AM❤THIS FOLLOWED BY A WALK…. IT COULD BE AS LONG AS ANYTHING BETWEEN 20 MINS TO 1 HR.
I DID MINE WITH MY HUBBY👫 today…
An hour long of Ultimate Bonding 💑

I LOVE WHAT I EAT~ THEN WHAT I EAT LOVES ME BACK~🍉FOOD WISDOM🍉
❤Followed by a platter dry fruits ~Mine mostly consisted of Almonds , Walnuts , Figs , Pistachio stuffed Date , Apricots.

As I completed my recent Fitsvilla ? Fitness Challenge ….
I realised~
“It’s not always about doing too much of
it,but continuing to do something.”
This challenge was quite easy for me… as I’m use to doing all of it…?but maintaining regularity was what I was working on… ?
Inspite of being a Fitness Coach…This happens several times with me …that due to classes and other commitments I fail to gather time for my workout…which leaves me quite depressed and demotivated…so completing this challenge helped me in HABIT FORMATION which Is quite an integral part of a healthy lifestyle,often ignored.
“A Fitness Challenge for me is like a Promise to myself to commit to a healthy lifestyle and to keep growing in this journey in my various little ways…”
Many of my Fitsvilla? mates were part of this fitness challenge …and we would daily share our experience and motivate each other…
During these 5 days….often I thought ? what role does Honesty play here…
What if I don’t do today’s workout n still post that I’m done with today’s Target…??
Nobody’s gonna ask me for a proof…They all trust me…The answer I got on my Day 5…My 500 skips were a lot more easier than Day 1…. So because of my persistence…. .I could feel a slight improvement in my fitness level…☺??

Lesson Learnt ~

“IF YOU ARE NOT BEING HONEST TO YOURSELF IN THIS JOURNEY ….YOU ARE THE BIGGEST LOOSER !”?
