My journey to the Kingly Headstand

Life is a mix of ups and downs. Somedays are cloudy and dark , rest are sunny. The uncertainty of life literally sucks. One minute you’re flowing with the wind and the next minute you’re struggling to make your way against the waves. But the ultimate truth is there would be no glorious days without a few messy moments.
Often, when I’m in my headstand, I relate this Inverted postures to those upside down moments in my life which could’ve left me in the most unbalanced state. But being able to stand tall in the headstand fills me with a belief that Im strongly- calm and composed.
Initially when I was struggling to get into the headstand months ago…I wouldn’t go beyond a certain limit cause I knew I would fall then. So taking shortcuts and coming back to rest position from midway, happened for several days TILL ONE DAY… when I dared to attempt the full headstand and fell badly with a horrifying landing. And then that very minute I got up and again attempted the full headstand and again fell and remembered the very famous Japanese Proveb –
~Fall seven times…stand up for the eighth ! ~
And then gradually I realised that I was attempting the headstand only to fall back again. After around 7 to 8 attempts… I could hold the headstand for a few secs.Gaawsh !I WAS ALMOST THERE…
The next few days practice enabled me to hold in the pose for longer duration and realised “IT WAS FEAR…A FEAR TO FALL … which was stopping me being there. In the journey to my Headstand –
I LEARNT TO FALL FIRST ….”
Not that I wish, all attempt my way to the headstand cause that could be a little risky considering every individual’s state of health…but I surely wish to share a humble learning which I was blessed with ,on my journey to the KINGLY HEADSTAND…
“IT’S FEAR…A FEAR TO FALL… WHICH STOPS US FROM GROWING…LEARN TO FALL FIRST… LET GO OF THE FEAR….
BEGIN LIVING AND GROWING …”
