Yoga @ Reboot thy fitness

This evening couldn’t be better… I was invited by an old friend , who off late had been requesting for fitness tips and inspiration. We would share chats during our walks , years ago ,but then her corporate pressures made her fitness activities impossible .
As we hugged each other,that evening , i said , “ive come with two of my companions who’ll help you get started with your fitness activities.”She
surprisingly asked me “Where r they?”
I said “here on my shoulders.. ? Two of my yoga mats…???.”
Her eversmiling face lit up… ??.

And as we rolled out our mats…She sounded excited and reminded me that she had not been able to follow any kinda workout for a long time..and her work load had put her to quite a stressful phase…and that she was poor with strength…. flexibility and stamina , this being her major inhibition in starting any regime. And I exactly knew what to take her through to make her feel completely rejuvenated? and motivated.

The session comprised of a few warmup stretches ,breathing techniques. A few beginner asanas…cool down stretches and finally Full body Relaxation.

These 35 to 40 mins of exercises were not to make her loose weight … nor to make her feel worked out.These few minutes were aimed at making her feel aware of her body… which she had circumstantially ignored for long.The session did not aim at putting her physical strength to test n leave her breathless but to enable her to consciously breathe more and more in each posture… to make her body n mind feel nourished.
Yoga pratice does not always mean making you sweat like mad or leaving you torn.So today, in your yoga class , if you have not fought every microsecond to stay a little more longer in that posture,that doesn’t really mean it’s all a waste! Even if youve managed to do a few warm up exercises with a positive attitude and felt happy doing it… does you a lot more good than you feeling dissatisfied about not being able to do those few extra pushups.
And at the end of our yoga session , this is what she was left with to say….
“Never thought , getting started could be so easy. ”
I felt happy about she feeling happy ?❤
Now that she had resolved to do yoga everyday,I left one of my companions (yoga mat) with her???.Our evening ended with a lovely cup of jasmine flavoured green tea and inspirational talks…
This meeting left me with a beautiful teaching I stored into my wisdom trunk…

In my opinion best teacher not only provide you the knowledge,but also motivate you encourage you to do continuous effort, he or she not only enlighten yours mind ,but also awakens your soul for doing continue efforts
And after reading this blog now i can say you are in row of best teacher
